<p>After a combined ten years of being a <em>TV Patrol</em> mainstay, <em></em>Henry Omaga-Diaz has<em></em> bid the evening news program goodbye as he is set to start a new life abroad.</p><p>On Friday, the broadcaster received a tribute and a send-off as he leaves <em>TV Patrol</em> to start a new chapter overseas.</p><p>In the said tribute, his wife Gigi Omaga-Diaz recorded a surprise message for the news anchor.</p><p>&quot;Hi pa! Surprised? Well, finally the day has come. After a very long wait, you will now be joining me here in Canada,&quot; she said.</p><p>She added: &quot;I know it was a tough and difficult decision for you to leave something that you&#x27;re most passionate about, the things you love to do most and have dedicated your entire career to your Kapamilya. I love you. God bless and see you soon.&quot;</p><p>Henry&#x27;s fellow news anchors Noli de Castro, Karen Davila, and Bernadette Sembrano also shared their farewell messages for him. They all expressed how they look up to him as newscaster and that they will be missing him in <em>TV Patrol.  </em></p><p>Meanwhile, in his farewell message for his co-news anchors, Henry remarked: &quot;Napaka-swerte ko dahil araw-araw nakakasalamuha [ko], nagtatawanan kami, [kasama ang] mga living legends.
