Arci Muñoz shares why she’s an Air Force reservist

<p>Actress Arci Muñoz is a proud reservist of the Philippine Air Force where she has been serving for the past five years. She added that it’s through this that she is able to show the love she has for the Philippines.</p><p>“Naniniwala ako na ito ay isang paraan para mapag silbihan ko ang aking mahal na bayan. Naniniwala ako na pag may pag kakaisa at disiplina ay may magandang pag babago makakamit natin ang kapayapaan na akin lamang minimithi,” she reasoned out.</p><p>Arci added that it is also her way of honoring the soldiers who sacrifice their lives for the safety of the country’s citizens. She then encouraged everyone to try the reservist life out to be able to inspire the next generation.</p><p>“Kaya naman hinihikayat ko kayo mag #enlist at mag bigay inspiration para sa susunod na henerasyon,” she ended.</p><p>Her post has received thousands of likes as of this writing but she has limited the comment section to those she only allowed.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2021/8/7/fresh-scoops/pushpins-why-these-kapamilya-celebrities-decided-195071"><strong>READ: PUSHPINS: Why these Kapamilya celebrities decided to become Air Force, Coast Guard reservists<br/></strong></a></div><p>Arci has been very vocal about wanting others to try enlisting as a reservist. She previously shared at Star Magic Lounge feature what it means for her.</p><p>“Nilagay kami sa posisyon na ito para magbigay inspirasyon para sa kapwa natin mga Pilipino – babae ka man o lalaki – na magsilbi sa ating bansa,” Arci previously said.</p><p>“Bilang isang reservist, kailangan ikaw ay handa sa kung ano ang haharapin ng bansa natin,” she added.</p><p>Arci is just one of the many celebrities that heeded the call and enlisted as a reservist in the military. Some other celebrities who are reservists include Gerald Anderson, Ronnie Liang, Geneva Cruz, Matteo Guidicelli, and Ejay Falcon, among others.</p>
