Is James Reid open to a JaDine comeback?

<p>James Reid revealed that he is planning to return to acting in early 2025.</p><p>&quot;As an actor, yes I do have plans very, very soon. It was always my plan to go back to acting,&quot; he said in an interview with Ogie Diaz.</p><p>James explained that he opted to do music over acting in recent years for self-discovery. </p><p>&quot;I just wanted to make music first kasi at that time I felt like being in a love team, I felt like I was losing my identity. It&#x27;s just I think it&#x27;s something that everybody goes through at some point in their lives. I discovered a lot about myself through music, through doing business, through going through challenges,&quot; he stated.</p><p>Next year, he is looking forward to doing acting again, saying: &quot;I&#x27;m excited to do acting again. Most likely by early next year,&quot; he hinted.</p><p>When asked if there is a possibility for a JaDine (his love team with Nadine Lustre) comeback, James replied: &quot;I don&#x27;t think that&#x27;s happening. There&#x27;s still that undying support that I&#x27;m always grateful for. Even as I transitioned to music, nandun pa rin sila to promote my music and support me. But you know out of respect for my girlfriend Issa (Pressman), I don&#x27;t think I would do another love team.&quot;</p><p>The actor further explained: &quot;I think a lot of the audience can&#x27;t tell reality from showbiz when it comes to love team, so I have respect for her. I don&#x27;t think I would ever do that again but acting, definitely.</p><p>The actor admitted that it had been tough dealing with bashers when it comes to his relationship with Issa.</p><p>&quot;It&#x27;s been a very difficult year for me, also for Issa, and I&#x27;m sure for Nadine also, just with all the noise, all of the bashing. Sana people can move on from all of that. Don&#x27;t ask me who. It just doesn&#x27;t make any sense, but you know people will always make up their owns stories. I just try my best to live a life that I&#x27;m proud of,&quot; he remarked.</p><p>He went on: &quot;Hopefully people would just move on because they can see na happy naman kami, happy naman sila.
