Ayala Land offers prizes for best green designs, projects

<p>As part of celebrations for its 30th year, Ayala Land Inc. has launched a green design competition aiming to promote sustainability among the public.</p><p>The &#x27;Design Your Tomorrow Today&#x27; contest is open to all Filipinos in the Philippines who have an original concept to help others pursue sustainable living.</p><div><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script></div><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/officialayalaland/videos/2166797720235493/" data-width="auto"> </div><p>Aside from getting the chance to jointly work on their brainchild with Ayala Land, winners will each receive P50,000 as cash prize.</p><p>The projects can fall under three categories: <br/>    1. Living Sustainably<br/>    2. Plastic-Free Tomorrow<br/>    3. Estate-Wide Solutions</p><p>To submit entries, participants should go to <a href="http://www.ayalaland.com.ph/cocreate/">www.ayalaland.com.ph/cocreate</a> and click &quot;JOIN THE CONTEST.&quot;</p><p>Winning entries—1 per category—will be decided by a panel of judges, as well as votes from the public.</p><p>Judges include Furniture Designer Vito Selma, illustrator Winnie Wong, and zero waste advocate Kimi Caja-Juan. They will be assessing each entry based on Creativity and Originality (40%), Feasibility (30%), Scalability (20%), and Audience Vote (10%).</p><p>Full contest mechanics and more information about Ayala&#x27;s sustainability efforts can be found on the Ayala Land Co-Create <a href="https://www.ayalaland.com.ph/cocreate">website</a> and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/officialayalaland">Facebook page</a>.</p><p>Aside from being part of Ayala Land’s 30th anniversary celebrations, the contest is in line with the real estate firm&#x27;s aim for its estates to be sustainable and eco-efficient.</p><p>&quot;In our 30th year, we want your help in generating ideas for a plastic-free, and sustainable future for Filipinos.
