<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/advertorial/12/05/20191205_mdc_1.jpg"/></figure></div><p>For an assembly as estimable and promising as the SEA Games, nothing should come in between the athletes and a perfectly safe and healthy environment where rehabilitative measures are readily available.</p><p>&#x27;&#x27;We want to ensure that both local and international athletes are taken care of, as well as quick response to emergencies,&#x27;&#x27; said Irineo Bautista, Operations Manager for Medical and Doping, Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC).</p><p>This thrust for world-class facilities and services is an indication that The Medical City Clark—the official healthcare facility for the SEA Games in Clark cluster—is ready to take on, with emergency preparedness at the top of its priorities.</p><p>&#x27;&#x27;Preparations for the SEA Games event have been ongoing for months. This includes a courtesy lane in the emergency room and rehabilitation department to expedite management and treatment of delegates and athletes,&#x27;&#x27; said Dr. Geraldine Veloso, Head of TMC Clark Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.</p><p>Being close to sporting events in New Clark City, Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, and San Fernando Pampanga, TMC also offers transportation services to those who need medical assistance. Support will also come in the way of The Medical City&#x27;s extensive network: The Medical City Ortigas, as well as The Medical City South Luzon, as referral facilities.</p><p>Dr. Cesar Espiritu, President and CEO of The Medical City South Luzon, reassured, &#x27;&#x27;It is really the task of the individual hospitals of The Medical City network to accommodate and provide medical and surgical concerns and needs that athletes would have.&#x27;&#x27;</p><p>&#x27;&#x27;The Medical City is a world-class facility – anything that you see abroad, we have it here as well,&#x27;&#x27; stated Dr. Enrique Leandro Pasion, Sports Medicine surgeon from the Department of Orthopedics of TMC Ortigas.</p><p>Most of the doctors at The Medical City are equipped with concerted training and practice both here and overseas, to ensure that international standards are met. </p><p>As Dr. Enrique Leandro Pasion, Sports Medicine surgeon from the Department of Orthopedics of The Medical City Ortigas, stated, &#x27;&#x27;The Medical City is a world-class facility – anything that you see abroad, we have it here as well.&#x27;&#x27;</p><p>All hospital networks of The Medical City are accredited by local and international insurances that will be able to accept insurances of foreign delegates from November 25 to December 10.
