Jane De Leon leads Team Narda’s jamming, dance party in Kapamilya Family Date Nights

<p>Jane De Leon’s Team Narda spread hope and charity in the 8th episode of Kapamilya Family Date Nights online benefit show that coincided with the celebration of International Women’s Day.</p><p>The interactive fund drive is part of ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN Foundation’s “Tulong-Tulong Sa Pag-Ahon Isang Daan sa Pagtutulungan” campaign that aims to provide food, clean water, as well as hygiene and home repair kits for families affected by Super Typhoon Odette.</p><p>To make our ‘bayanihan’ more fun, Jane and co-stars Joj Agpangan, LA Santos, and Viveika Ravanes granted netizens’ most requested songs, dance challenges, and games, and shared updates about their upcoming teleserye <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/more-darna-tv-series-stills-to-elevate-your-excitement-16746" target="_blank"><u><strong>Darna: The TV Series</strong></u></a>. </p><div> </div><div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/qawfymsGOjc" title="YouTube video player" width="1280"></iframe></div><div> </div><p>The whole team grinds doubly hard leading to the teleserye’s much-awaited premiere. Jane, playing Darna/Narda, was recently confined in a hospital due to fatigue. “Binigay ko po talaga ‘yung best ko pero ‘yung katawan ko po talaga nagreklamo na. Kasi since January nandito na ako, so almost two months na po ako dito sa lock-in,” the Kapamilya actress shared.</p><p>She said she’s feeling better that night, although still recovering. The good thing is everyone’s taking care of her on and off the set, “Kailangan ko pa rin kumain nang marami. Actually, ang laki din ng pinayat ko. Pero ang mga kuya at ate ko po dito, mga maalaga po talaga. Pinapakain po nila ako. At even though wala ‘yung family ko, nafe-feel ko po talaga na may family ako dito.”</p><p>Jane’s preparation for the role is no joke considering the action and physical requirements. But she’s thankful her supportive cast-mates, as well as the staff and crew make work a little more fun and easier.</p><p>She related, “Lahat nagtutulungan. Mahal na mahal nila ‘yung mga craft nila. Makikita mo passionate ‘yung mga tao nila dito. Ang maganda dito is nandito kami para suportahan ang isa’t isa. Wala talaga ditong naghihilaan pababa. Lahat kami naghihilaan pataas talaga. Nakakatuwa! Mapa-direktor, staff, cameramen, wardrobe, artista. Kung makikita n’yo lang, pwede namin kayo i-welcome dito sa family namin.”</p><p>Viveika, as a mom, mentioned that time away from family is the biggest disadvantage of lock-in taping. It’s as if she has to divide her mind between work and checking on her kids, “While we’re here, siyempre kailangan may connect ka doon sa iniwan mong pamilya. Isa ako du’n sa mga struggling mothers, na dapat araw-araw nalalaman mo. Mahirap din.” </p><p>She’s grateful to be part of this big teleserye project, especially at a time of a pandemic, thus giving her best for the role of Marites. “So ang gagawin mo na lang dito, make it worthy, na dapat hindi masasayang. Gagawin mo ‘yung magagawa mo. Maging maayos ka sa work. Siyempre happy ako, unang-una, blessing to ni God. Pangalawa, isang malaking opportunity na maging kabilang ka dito sa Darna.”</p><p><a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-news/more-darna-tv-series-stills-to-elevate-your-excitement-16746" target="_blank"><u><strong>Darna: The TV Series</strong></u></a> is Joj’s first lock-in project. Bulacan, where the ABS-CBN Soundstage is, may be miles away from her hometown in Bacolod but she couldn’t let pass the lucky chance to play Narda’s best friend. Besides, the team makes her feel at home, “Masaya lang sa set at family kami dito.”</p><p>LA mentioned there are days when it doesn’t feel like work. “Sobrang enjoy po talaga ako dito sa team na ‘to… Natutuwa rin ako kasi lahat hardworking. Alam mong pinaghandaan ng lahat. Lahat passionate.”</p><p>After the interview, Team Narda turned the party mode on with LA’s version of “How Deep Is Your Love,” and later on he’d serenade everyone with “Tayo Lang,” a theme song from “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.” Other tracks included in that night’s playlist are “Easy On Me” performed by Viveika and “Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso” by Joj.</p><p>As if there’s nothing she couldn’t do, our newest Darna showcased her singing talent, bringing back all the feels with “Di Na Muli” and “Torete.” Jane’s mini-concert sparked an impromptu “Jojowain o Totropahin” Challenge wherein she went through past co-actors. She was quick to reply “jojowain” for Gerald Anderson because he’s sweet and a real gentleman. She answered “totropahin” for Enrique Gil because she’s good friends with him and his girlfriend Liza Soberano; as well as with Yves Flores, her PBB batchmate.</p><p>Team Narda was extra game that night as they accepted the Paru-Paro G Challenge, Bad Romance Challenge, and For Real Challenge. Plus, Toxic Dance Challenge wherein Jane showcased her sexy dance moves.
