Boasting a splendid set of best-dressed attendees, the 5th Star Magic Ball was proof that the event has then evolved into an impressive fashion affair, the one night where celebrities show up in extra glamorous versions of themselves. Guests swanned into the Manila Peninsula in pairs and solos. Two female celebrities walked the red carpet looking gorgeous in their pregnancy figure, plus, much to spectators’ surprise, stars from the other network joined the event.Look back at the highlights of the Star Magic Ball 2011 by launching the gallery!Some artists defied the usual black-and-white theme by going for red and grey ensembles. There was no stopping Erich Gonzales from choosing a red gown with an imposing tulle skirt. She danced the night away with loveteam partner Enchong Dee. They took home the Couple of The Night Award.Considered a Star Magic Ball veteran, Kim Chiu was no stranger to rocking a voluminous frock on the red carpet, which brought her the &quot;Drop-dead Stunner&quot; Award. She came to the occasion solo, unlike the previous years when she was escorted by Gerald Anderson.A very youthful Kathryn Bernardo was photographed dancing in the cotillion, without Daniel Padilla, as this was staged before KathNiel&#x27;s phenomenal inception.John Estrada arrived with his lovely date, his wife Priscilla Meirelles, who was then almost four months pregnant.One of Star Magic’s homegrown talents, Kristine Hermosa, likewise graced the Ball decked in an elegant laced dress that showed a hint of her baby bump. She came with her husband Oyo Sotto, whom she described as “maalaga” during the interview portion at the Ball.Meanwhile, Heart Evangelista was invited to the occasion though she was no longer under Star Magic’s management. Of course, as one of local fashion’s frontliners, she understood the assignment well and showed up in a white satin gown embellished with black feathers.Another pleasant surprise came in the form of Lovi Poe, who slayed the red carpet as the date of her then-movie co-star Jake Cuenca. As if this was a manifestation, Lovi officially became a Kapamilya a decade later.Adding verve to the affair were the performances of Kapamilya talents. Angeline Quinto and Yeng Constantino, as well as Vina Morales and Erik Santos, serenaded the guests.Also spotted at the Star Magic Ball 2011 were Julia Montes, Paulo Avelino Ryan Bang, Kaye Abad, and Piolo Pascual. Jessie Mendiola and Enrique Gil were hailed as the night&#x27;s &quot;Breakout Style&quot; awardees.This year, the ABS-CBN Ball embarks on a new chapter that celebrates stories of gratitude and togetherness shared by the whole Kapamilya community – artists, employees, and collaborators.Watch out for the biggest showbiz affair of the year!
