Last Friday night (January 21) went ‘kilig’ and a little sexy as teleserye heartthrobs Paulo Avelino and JC De Vera entertained viewers in the “Truth or Dare” benefit show to raise funds for Typhoon Odette survivors.By every target amount of diamonds donated via live streaming app Kumu, Paulo and JC would take on truth-or-dare questions courtesy of netizens and hosts Alora Sasam and Darla Sauler. Here are the highlights of the fundraising event.The Kapamilya actors already had explosive revelations as early as the first round of the “Never Have I Ever” game. Paulo owned up to being a third party in a relationship before. JC once ghosted a girl. Both have already fallen in love with a co-star. In the latter round, they admitted drunk-calling an ex-girlfriend, experiencing love at first sight, and crying over a girl. They never kissed a girl on the first date. There were also questions related to their fellow artists. Paulo and JC almost had the same answers on the leading lady who made them ‘kilig.’ They mentioned Angel Locsin, whom they’ve worked with in the drama series <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/thegeneralsdaughter" target="_blank">The General’s Daughter</a>, as well as Angelica Panganiban. Paulo and JC said they’re open to doing BL series opposite any actor.Asked their most embarrassing childhood ‘kulit’ moment, Paulo recalled getting stuck on an escalator, “One time, sumakay ako ng escalator. ‘Di ba may hawakan ‘yun, sinakyan ko ‘yun ….tapos bandang dulo, naipit ‘yung pantalon ko.”Meanwhile, JC talked about an icky thing he used to do as a kid, “Noong bata, maharot ako, malikot, palatakbo. ‘Pag may kalaro ako, ‘pag malapit na akong mapikon or napikon na ako, dinuduraan ko ‘yung kalaro ko.”For the challenges, the two demonstrated the sexiest way to drink water, did handsome poses, and revealed their last selfies. JC gamely flaunted his abs and did stunts despite not feeling well that night.Also part of a dare was to look straight into the camera and pretend soothing an LQ. Paulo was surprised when Janine reacted to his message via a video. The first thing Paulo said when Janine picked up the call was, “You’re live, so don’t say anything unnecessary.” Haha!
