Saying sorry can be hard, but as they say, we'd rather lose the argument than lose the person important to us, right? Swallowing your pride won't kill you, but holding onto it might. Are Gen Zs good at apologizing? What's their take on this delicate part of love and romance? We turned to two of today’s hottest Gen Z artists—“Zoomer Season 2” stars Harvey Bautista and Criza—and asked them how the younger generation handles apologies.

Welcome to another edition of “How Tos of Love.”

When it comes to asking for forgiveness after a fight, Harvey underscores the importance of being present. “Just be there emotionally, physically, kung anuman ‘yung fight n’yo,” he thought. If your partner isn't ready to talk, don't force a conversation. Just be there to show your support and willingness to make things right.

Criza, on the other hand, brought some humor to the conversation. She laughed and admitted she rarely apologizes. “Most of the time kasi I am in the right side,” she said with a grin. But when she knows she's wrong, she doesn't hesitate to say sorry right away. She ensures the other person knows their feelings are valid, acknowledges her mistake, and promises not to repeat it. She also thanks the other person for opening up and being honest with their emotions.

In the crazy world of love and romance, these insights from CrizVey remind us that apologies are about more than just words—they're about presence, validation, and a genuine commitment to improving the relationship.
