Haunted Halloween Scare Fest with KaoMiah

This Halloween, fans of the hit series “Halfmates” got a delightful (and frightful) surprise as stars Kaori Oinuma and Jeremiah Lisbo—embarked on a spooky adventure through Nightmares Manila, one of the Philippines’ most famous haunted attractions.

KaoMiah’s visit to the horror house quickly turned into a fun, heart-pounding adventure that left viewers laughing and gasping alongside them. As they approached the eerie entrance, Jeremiah nervously confessed he had no choice but to be ready, while Kaori teased him with her previous experience. When Jeremiah asked for advice, Kaori quipped with a laugh, “Just be yourself… and be careful. Huwag kang mananapak!” Her playful reminder hinted at the terror that awaited them inside, foreshadowing the scares that would unfold.

Before they even set foot in the haunted house, a ‘ghost’ popped out, sending both of them into a frenzy. “Lord be with me!” Kaori exclaimed, clutching Jeremiah’s arm as they pushed forward. The next few moments were filled with shrieks, nervous laughter, and Kaori clinging onto Jeremiah’s arm as they navigated dark hallways and narrow passages. Jeremiah, perhaps to distract himself from the fear, muttered, “Nilalaro ko lang ’to dati e, ‘Left 4 Dead’ ba ’yon?” He bravely called out to the lurking ghosts, “Sige, ‘pag nasira mo ’yan babayaran mo ’yan!” as if attempting to bargain with the ghouls.

The highlight, however, came when Kaori decided to turn the tables on the ghostly creatures. Amid the chaos, she spotted a particularly menacing figure lurking too close for comfort. Instead of shrinking away, she cheerfully instructed, “Say hi to the camera!” as if daring the ghosts to take center stage. Jeremiah, meanwhile, couldn’t decide whether to scream or laugh. His expressions were a mix of terror and amusement, while Kaori’s high-pitched screams echoed through the dimly lit corridors. “Pagod na ako!” he finally gasped, as the horror experience drained his energy as much as it thrilled him.

After navigating through countless frights, jump scares, and spine-tingling moments, they finally made it out, both relieved and exhilarated. Kaori admitted that even though she had braved the horror house before, this experience felt much scarier. For Jeremiah, it was an unforgettable first; his nervous energy melted into laughter, and he couldn’t hide how much he enjoyed the adventure.

“Halfmates” fans were thrilled to see KaoMiah bring their chemistry off-screen into the haunted house, making their Halloween celebration at Nightmares Manila a memorable one. It was a perfect blend of terror and fun, showcasing the playful bond between the two stars.
