They may have come from different generations in showbiz, but the universe still made a way for Carlo Aquino and Maris Racal to be paired up in ABS-CBN’s First YouTube Exclusive Daily Series – “How To Move On in 30 Days”!

And in a recent episode of PUSH Bets Live, the two talked about their own views on relationships and moving on, the takeaways audiences could get from watching the series, as well as enthusiastically played the fun “Complete the Sentence Challenge”.

Since the movie is about moving on in a given period of time, the two said that they actually do not count. However, Maris disclosed that she actually sets a target day, elaborating that if she already felt that the person she is with is not really for her or if she already got fed up with that person, then that’s the time for her to leave. Her partner making her feel worthless is also her turning point in moving on from a relationship.

While it’s easy for her to move on, the 36-year-old actor said that it actually depends on the amount of feelings you’ve invested for that person or the depth of your bond. It’s important for them to have closure in a relationship and to forget the person while in the process of moving. As they both believe that there’s a possibility for former flames to be friends again, Carlo asserted that both parties should have the same mindset and level of maturity in order to be friends with an ex.

With regards to the things they do while in the moving on stage, both of them shared their respective healing process.

“I-start mo mahalin ‘yong sarili mo kasi nasaktan ka e. So, punuin mo ‘yong sarili mo ng pagmamahal, like gawin mo ‘yong mga bagay na matagal mo nang gustong gawin pero hindi mo nagagawa sa relationship n’yo. Like, lahat ng mga bagay na magpapasaya sa’yo, kahit short-term happiness. [Sa] healing process, ‘yong number one priority mo ay ang sarili mo,” she related.

Carlo interjected by saying that he’s taking down notes and echoed what Maris just stated by saying that we should surround yourself with people who would shower you with love, such as your family and friends.

When it comes to giving a special someone a second chance, the versatile actor said that it actually depends on the weight of what you’re going through in the relationship. Maris, on the other hand, doesn’t see herself forgiving her partner once he commits a mistake.

The host then dared them to take on the “Complete The Sentence Challenge,” wherein they had to simply supply or affix their responses to the phrases that the host stated. Maris revealed that “hindi ako makatulog kapag…” she doesn’t get massages, while Carlo if isn’t able to eat dinner.

Both of them recalled forgetting the lyrics of the songs they were performing in their respective gigs many years ago, when asked about the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to them.

With regards to “nakalimutan kong maligo dahil…”, Carlo shared that he doesn’t usually take a bath whenever he goes on rides with his friends early in the morning, while Maris skips her baths every time she feels fresh and fragrant.

While Carlo related not experiencing “wrong send” yet as it usually takes him three to four days to reply, Maris confessed erroneously sending a “Hi Baby” message to a producer. He also didn’t have any regret in life, while she recalled that cringe-worthy moment when she wasn’t able to wear shorts in one of their performances in school.

When it comes to “Kung ako ay isang pagkain, ako ay isang…”, they almost had the same answer as Carlo said that he would be mango ice cream, while Maris would be mango float. They also agreed that “How To Move On in 30 Days” is the apt answer to “nag-viral ang…”, and that their childhood would be the period of their lives that they wish to go back to if given a chance via a time machine. She simply wishes to relive her childhood, while Carlo would want to witness that moment when his mom gave birth to him.

And lastly, the two further unleashed their innate sense of humor when asked “naiiyak ako tuwing…”. Maris uttered “tuwing gabi” and every time she has to accomplish a lot of things and the deadline is already near. Carlo, meanwhile, jested whenever they shoot scenes under the scorching heat of the sun and he does not have salary yet.
