This is the period when you have to be extra careful in everything that you do, especially when doing strenuous activities that could have a great impact on the little one inside your belly.</p><p>While there are expecting moms who are very much cautious when it comes to working out, especially those who were brought up in a conservative family, there are some who still dare to continue doing so under the guidance of their trusted doctors and fitness coaches to keep themselves and their babies healthy – just like the celebrity mothers listed in this Kapamilya Snaps feature!</p><div> </div><div><strong>Iza Calzado</strong></div><p>The <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/darna" target="_blank"><em><strong><u>Mars Ravelo’s Darna</u></strong></em></a> actress is one of our ultimate celebrity fitspirations, and she still is despite being pregnant on her and husband Ben Wintle’s first child at the age of 40. Ever since she announced her pregnancy on her milestone birthday last August, Iza has been sharing her new exercise routines on Instagram.</p><p>Despite already being in the last trimester of her pregnancy, she can still amazingly lift weights and strength train. Her personal trainer Culver Padilla shared an IG reel of her hitting the gym and wrote in the caption a few tips on doing prenatal exercises and proven findings regarding its advantages both for the Mama and the baby.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Judy Ann Santos</strong></div><p>As her way of preparing for the birth of her <em>bunso</em> Luna in January 2016, Juday stayed active with the help of professionals and her beloved hubby Ryan Agoncillo. She also learned how to do headstands, which, according to her, “<em>is totally safe most specially kung suhi ang baby. The pose alone allows the baby to move to its proper position.</em>”</p><p>Juday addressed those who showed concern about her doing it by telling them in an IG post that doing headstands is actually nothing new to preggo moms like that it should be done under the supervision of professionals.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Bianca Gonzalez</strong></div><p>With knowledge and experience from her first pregnancy, Bianca signed up for pre-natal Pilates, through which she’s able to get major stretching and strengthening for the shifting organs in her body and body aches because of the growing baby inside her tummy. Aside from those, she also did squats and leg lifts to keep herself fit and strong.</p><p>The <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/pbbs10" target="_blank"><em><strong><u>Pinoy Big Brother</u></strong></em></a> host explained in an IG post, “The struggle to keep fit during pregnancy is real!! But I&#x27;ve learned working out makes a big difference, to stay strong until delivery and recover faster after giving birth. Of course, every pregnancy is different, ask your doctor before starting any exercise.”</p><div> </div><div><strong>Andi Eigenmann</strong></div><p>Years after having her firstborn Ellie, Andi welcomed her second and third child in July 2019 and January 2021, respectively. In both those pregnancies, she stayed fit and healthy by doing prenatal yoga and workouts, with her first daughter and fiancé Philmar Alipayo as her constant companions.</p><p>Andi also got to astonishingly continue surfing with the two of them while heavily pregnant. She didn’t just simply sit on the surfboard, but even stood on it as she rode the waves.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Bianca King</strong></div><p>Bianca also announced her pregnancy with her and husband Ralph Wintle’s first baby last August. At the same time, she reminded preggos like her to consult with their midwife or obstetrician before doing any exercises and made sure to be guided by a professional trainer.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Isabelle Daza</strong></div><p>Just in case you missed it, Isabelle is currently carrying her and husband Adrien Semblat’s Baby #3! She made the announcement by using a Halloween-inspired meme and tagging herself as a “pregnant influencer”.</p><p>Those who have been following her on Instagram surely know that exercising was an important part of her previous pregnancies. In fact, instead of staging a typical party, she and her friends had Pilates and barre for her little baby shower in February 2021.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Solenn Heusaff</strong></div><p>Another celebrity momma who’s bulging belly is about to pop soon is Solenn, who shared last July that she and husband Nico Bolzico are expecting their second baby. Despite already having a huge baby, she still hits the gym regularly and even made YouTube video about pre-natal yoga for other expectant moms like her!</p><p>As she posted an IG reel of her doing strenuous workouts, she explained, <em>“To those who may ask , always ask your doctor first. As for myself, i have always worked out hard pre pregnancy and maintain my workouts. I dont shock my body and make sure with my trainer that all exercises we do are post partum safe.</em>”</p><div> </div><div><strong>Aubrey Miles</strong></div><p>Aside from being a certified <em>plantita</em>, Aubrey is also known for being a true fitspiration. And her pregnancy and giving birth to her and husband Troy Montero’s daughter Rocket in 2018 didn’t hinder her from working out. Instead, she came up with a routine dedicated to her pregnant body because she loves working out so much.</p><p>Further attesting to it was her fitness-themed maternity photoshoot before giving birth to their youngest child.</p><div> </div><div><strong>Meryll Soriano</strong></div><p>Last, but definitely not the least, is Meryll, who welcomed her child with partner Joem Bascon in January 2021 at 38 years old.</p><p>During her pregnancy, she and Joem loved to workout together. In a caption of one of her IG posts, she explicated, <em>“Worked out 4-6 times a week. Helped me a lot with my mental health. Considering I have gestational diabetes at the time, I prioritized staying healthy with proper eating for me and the baby. And, of course, I had to be strong for my birth delivery. So, I pushed myself with the help of Dud, every single time. It’s a difficult time to be pregnant during this pandemic. Exercise is definitely one way to battle anxieties and worries we had.”</em></p><p>These celebrity moms are proof that, contrary to traditional beliefs, working out even during pregnancy can actually do wonders both to the mother and the baby in her womb. We just have to do it really carefully and under the supervision of doctors and professional trainers. </p>
