“Unbreak My Heart” squad explores Milan, Italy with only 100 Euro budget

Another rest day, another chance to create memories by strolling around the streets of Milan! In the recent episode of “Unbreak My Heart Europe Experience” vlog series on YouTube, the teleserye&#x27;s younger cast members – Bianca de Vera, Will Ashley, Jeremiah Lisbo, Mark Rivera, and PJ Endrinal – took on a fun outdoor walk in Milan, Italy. But here’s the catch: they only have 100 euros to spend on their adventure.With currency and cultural differences, the challenge sounds too intimidating. The good thing is they’re with Mark, who was born and raised in Italy, thus he knows how to speak Italian and he’s familiar with the best places to go to in Milan.As Bianca said, “Minsan talaga nai-intimidate ako sa mga Italyano. Buti na lang nadiyan si Mark para saluhin lahat nang ‘yun… He’s such a big help talaga. Kung wala siya, hay, hindi ko na talaga alam.”At first, Bianca wanted to buy new socks because the pair she was wearing was too thin to protect her feet from the cold weather. The problem was the price of socks is already enough to buy them lunch. Jeremiah secretly reacted as Bianca talked to the saleslady: “Gutom na gutom pa naman ako.”Thankfully, it dawned on her that food is more important than the socks she’s eyeing. The boys then ganged up on her. PJ asked in jest, “Mapapakain ba kami ng medyas na ‘yan?” Will further quipped, “Pwede bang gawing ice cream ‘yun?” Jeremiah added, “Buti naman nagbago ang isip.”Then, they went to a restaurant for lunch. Mark told the waiter that they’re on a budget, and the waiter assured them that they still have plenty of options. They settled for two orders of pizza and coffee for each of them. “Hindi namin nafo-foresee na ang dami na pala naming gastos kasi hindi naman kami sanay sa currency ng Euros. Let’s say, ‘yung pizza is 12 euros, which in Philippine peso is around 600 something, which is sobrang mahal na. Sa Pilipinas, magkano lang ‘yung pizza. So, nagugulat kami. Pero ‘pag nakikita mo kasi siya sa menu, ang mura,” Bianca shared her realization.Since they still have 49 Euros, they decided to have gelato and crepes for dessert in Brera District. At the end of the challenge, they had 30.50 euros left and concluded that, yes, you can stroll around Milan while on a budget.In the latter part of the video, Bianca playfully took on a spontaneous “AFAM Challenge” where she would spot cute foreigners.
