<figure class="op-interactive"><div id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1_Container"> <ivs-player id="IVS_ABS_Body_Video_1" data-ivs-spid="3001339" data-ivs-key="e8c22c015ca9eafa76f1e3edfa03c603" data-ivs-vid="1395039" data-ivs-floating="1"></ivs-player> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/iframe-parent.js"></script> <script src="https://player.ivideosmart.com/ivsplayer/v4/dist/js/loader.js"></script> </div></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>Bababa ang singil ng Meralco sa kuryente habang magkakaroon naman ng dagdag-singil ang Maynilad at Manila Water sa tubig ngayong Enero.</p><p>Nag-anunsiyo nitong Martes ang kompanya na may bawas na P0.34 kada kilowatt hour (kWh) ang singil sa bill sa Enero, na katumbas ng P68 na bawas sa mga kabahayang kumokonsumo ng 200 kWh, P102 sa 300 kWh, P136 sa 400 kWh, at P170 sa 500 kWh. </p><p>Ipinaliwanag ng Meralco na may bawas sa singil ng mga planta ng kuryente na maipapasa sa January bill ng mga konsumer. </p><p>Malaking parte kasi ng suplay ng kuryente ng Meralco ay galing sa mga planta ng natural gas na ang presyo ay batay sa world crude prices.</p><p>Pero nagpaalala ang Meralco na hindi seguradong magreresulta sa mababang singil sa kuryente sa Pebrero ang pagbaba ng presyo ng petrolyo noong nakaraang taon. </p><p>“Magno-normalize na &#x27;yan sa February, rates will be higher, we just want you to be ready and some energy efficiency initiatives,” sabi ni Joe Zaldarriaga, Meralco spokesperson, sa isang press conference. </p><p>Nasa P1.48 naman ang average na dagdag-singil sa mga customer ng Maynilad at papalo sa P0.64 kada cubic meter ang dagdag-singil sa mga customer ng Manila Water. </p><p>Nauna nang inihirit ng grupong Laban Konsyumer sa Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Regulatory Office (MWSS) na bawiin ang dagdag-singil dahil wala naman daw hearing tungkol dito. </p><p>Ayon kay Laban Konsyumer president Vic Dimagiba, idudulog nila sa husgado ang kaso kung sakaling &quot;dedmahin&quot; ang kanilang hinaing. </p><p>&quot;Idudulog po natin ito sa husgado para magkaroon ng final decision kung tama o mali ang MWSS,&quot; aniya. </p><p>Pero depensa ng MWSS na automatic ang naturang adjustment na puwedeng pababa o pataas kaya di na kailangan ng pagdinig.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/12/18/18/taas-singil-ng-tubig-sa-enero-di-kailangan-ng-konsultasyon">&#x27;Taas-singil ng tubig sa Enero, di kailangan ng konsultasyon</a></li></ul><div><strong>--Ulat ni Alvin Elchico, ABS-CBN News </strong><br/> </div>
