MANILA - Glitches in the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) are "unavoidable," even after the capital's busiest train line underwent days of maintenance work during the Holy Week, the company in charge of the upkeep of the railway said Tuesday.
Busan Railways Inc wrote to the Department of Transportation to explain several service interruptions after the Holy Week that affected tens of thousands of passengers/
"Temporary stoppages of Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) due to either system error/malfunction deterioration of track and LRV equipment, etc. are unavoidable," the company said.
Busan Railways said it alerted MRT general manager Rodolfo Garcia on alleged deteriorating tracks last week. --with report by Jacque, Manabat, ABS-CBN News
