MANILA - Commuters will get to ride the MRT-3, LRT-1 and LRT-2 for free on June 12 in celebration of the country&#x27;s Independence Day, the Department of Transportation said Tuesday. On its Facebook page, the DOTr said the capital&#x27;s main railways will offer free rides from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m, and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Philippines marks the 121st anniversary of its declaration of independence from Spain on June 12, which is a regular holiday.
