The first five stations hanggang Dr. Santos Avenue dito nga sa Sucat ay magiging operational na within the year,&quot; DOTR Executive Assistant Jonathan Gesmundo said in a televised briefing.</p><p>Mayroon lang matitirang mga two stations hanggang Cavite nga na hindi pa matatapos within the year pero hopefully ay baka next year, 2025, ang lahat ng istasyon ng extension ay magbubukas na,” he added.</p><p>According to the Light Rail Manila Corporation, the Cavite Extension project will add 8 more stations to the current 20 LRT-1 stations, and will add 11 kms to the existing railway system. </p><p>Once operational, it will be able to serve as many as 300,000 passengers daily, according to Gesmundo.</p><p>“Iyong PITX at NAIA, kadugtong na iyan dito sa LRT 1 na Extension. Pero ang pinagmalaki dito sa Dr. A. Santos Station ay magkakaroon kasi ng multimodal transport,&quot; he said.</p><p>&quot;Kumbaga, magkakaroon ng mga terminal ng jeep, terminal ng tricycle terminal ng taxi diyan.
