MANILA -- After a four-year hiatus, multimedia company and content provider ABS-CBN brought together its partners and loyal brand supporters at the much-anticipated Kapamilya Trade Event from August 14 to 16.The trade event, themed &quot;Kapamilya Homecoming,&quot; served as both a reunion and a warm welcome back to the ABS-CBN home.&quot;This really provides a homecoming, a big homecoming because we haven&#x27;t seen them in a long time and we miss them. We&#x27;ve shown them that despite everything that&#x27;s happened to us, [we] evolved into something that is still their best conduit,&quot; said ABS-CBN Head of Integrated Sales August Benitez.The gathering, which aims to strengthen relationships and showcase upcoming content, was a day filled with fun, learning, and exciting experiences for three batches of partners.The event offered brand partners an exclusive sneak peek at ABS-CBN’s latest show, &quot;Rainbow Rumble,&quot; as well as the opportunity to participate in the TV Patrol News Challenge, an activity presented by ABS-CBN News.Participants expressed their enthusiasm about the event--which returned in a different form from the big-tent-style activities in pre-pandemic years.&quot;We’re very happy to be back here at ABS-CBN. It’s just the right time for us to gather and see the content and how media will evolve for ABS-CBN. What I see is that ABS is on the right path, becoming part of pop culture by creating content that is both entertaining and informative, something Filipinos will truly enjoy,&quot; said Dennis Perez, Media Head - Beauty and Well Being, Unilever SEA.&quot;The last time I was here was pre-pandemic,&quot; said Macce Samarista, Media Head for Nutrition at Unilever SEAI.&quot;It’s great to see people you grew up with and it’s great to see ABS-CBN really, really back.&quot;Attendees celebrated the network&#x27;s journey through its challenges.&quot;It highlights how resilient ABS-CBN has been from traditional media broadcast and now a multifaceted, multimedia content provider,&quot; said Richard Montealegre, Chief Investment Officer of Mindshare Philippines.&quot;We are really excited for all the new shows and offerings of ABS-CBN,&quot; said Rodel Nace, Associate Director of Touch XDA Inc., echoing the excitement in the industry.The event was also graced by Kapamilya stars, including Seth Fedelin, Belle Mariano, Jane de Leon, Janine Gutierrez, Jericho Rosales, Jolina Magdangal, Vivoree, Ryan Bang, Andrea Brillantes, Darren Espanto, Kim Chiu and singers Regine Velasquez, Maki, Khimo, Rob Blackburn, Kyle Echarri, Star Music artists and the casts of “Senior High,&quot; and &quot;Pamilya Sagrado,&quot; and others.Also present were TV Patrol anchors, reporters, and hosts such as Bernadette Sembrano, Jeff Canoy, ABS-CBN resident meteorologist Ariel Rojas, Tita Winnie Cordero, and Migs Bustos.The event also featured teasers for some of the network&#x27;s most anticipated series.Among them are “Saving Grace,” starring Julia Montes, and “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay,” featuring Joshua Garcia and Anne Curtis. Attendees also got a first look at “Incognito,” a new series starring Daniel Padilla alongside Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings, Richard Gutierrez, and more.
