Hundreds of drug users who surrendered to police were not allowed to return home until they complete one Zumba session.

According to Eastern Police District Chief Romulo Sapitula, Zumba, like other exercises, helps drug users to detoxify or flush the bad substances from their system.
But he clarified, the users' dancing to Zumba will not be a one time thing, as these drug personalities will have to report to barangay authorities regularly and join the Zumba sessions which will be led by the men and women in uniform.
