Joining Alonzo and Veneracion are Iza Calzado, Julia Barretto, JK Labajo, Ronnie Alonte and Enchong Dee. It will start airing on January 9.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin</h1><p>Four years after their last project together, former couple Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu are reuniting in the upcoming series &quot;Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin.&quot; Its story will revolve around three triathletes who come from different walks of life. The sport, its creators noted, serves as a metaphor for the challenges in one&#x27;s life. Apart from Anderson and Chiu, the series will also star Coleen Garcia and Jake Cuenca.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Wildflower</h1><p>Maja Salvador will be starring in the upcoming series “Wildflower,” which revolves around a scorned woman who wants to take revenge. Joining Salvador in the series are Wendell Ramos, Aiko Melendez, Tirso Cruz III and Joseph Marco.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">La Luna Sangre</h1><p>During ABS-CBN&#x27;s trade event last November, it was revealed that Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo will star in the third installment of a fantasy franchise, which began with 2008&#x27;s &quot;Lobo.&quot;</p><p>A teaser for &quot;La Luna Sangre&quot; gave hints about Padilla and Bernardo&#x27;s roles. Bernardo&#x27;s character appears to have a power to bring animals back to life, while Padilla represents a potential love interest.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">The Promise of Forever</h1><p>New Kapamilya star Ritz Azul will be starring role in her first television series on ABS-CBN. Titled &quot;The Promise Of Forever,&quot; the serye will also feature Paulo Avelino and Ejay Falcon. It will be helmed by &quot;Nathaniel&quot; director Darnel Villaflor and award-winning independent filmmaker Hannah Espia of &quot;Transit&quot; fame.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">My Dear Heart</h1><p>Zanjoe Marudo and Bela Padilla are set to star in ABS-CBN’s upcoming series “My Dear Heart.” To be directed by Jojo Saguin, the show will also feature Loisa Andallo, Rio Locsin, Joey Marquez, Coney Reyes and new Kapamilya child star Nayomi Ramos.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids</h1><p>“Your Face Sounds Familiar” will soon be back on TV with a twist. For the first time, it will feature eight celebrity kids as contestants. Starting this January 7, the show will be hosted by Billy Crawford. Sitting as judges are Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano and Ogie Alcasid.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">My Ex and Whys</h1><p>Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil will return to the big screen with their upcoming movie “My Ex and Whys.” Headed by &quot;Forevermore&quot; director Cathy Garcia-Molina, the new romantic comedy will be about a former playboy trying to prove to his ex-girlfriend that he&#x27;s a changed man. A release date for the Star Cinema offering has yet to be revealed.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Dear Other Self</h1><p>After her movie with Richard Yap and Ian Veneracion became a huge hit, Jodi Sta. Maria has two new leading men in her new movie “Dear Other Self.” For the upcoming Star Cinema film, Sta. Maria will be working with Kapamilya actors JC de Vera and Joseph Marco for the first time. In the movie, Sta. Maria plays a woman torn “between living the life that she dreamed of versus caring for those people that she loves.” A release date for film has yet to be revealed.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Extra Service</h1><p>Three of the country’s sexiest stars will join forces in Star Cinema’s upcoming action-comedy film “Extra Service.” Directed by Chris Martinez, the movie stars Jessy Mendiola, Arci Munoz and Coleen Garcia. Joining them are Ejay Falcon, Enzo Pineda and Vin Abrenica. It is slated open in theaters on January 11.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Mang Kepweng Returns</h1><p>Vhong Navarro is the lead star of the upcoming movie &quot;Mang Kepweng Returns.&quot; The titular character, a funny quack doctor, was originally portrayed by the late comedian Chiquito in 1979. It will open in cinemas on January 4.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">I&#x27;m Drunk I Love You</h1><p>Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino will reunite for the upcoming romantic-comedy movie “I&#x27;m Drunk, I Love You.” It is about a guy who has been keeping his feelings for his best friend. Salvador and Avelino’s last outing together was the drama series &quot;Bridges of Love.&quot;</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Across the Crescent Moon</h1><p>Matteo Guidicelli is the lead star of this action film directed by Baby Nebrida. The movie also features Christopher de Leon, Joem Bascon and Alex Godinez. A release date for this movie has yet to be announced after it failed to make it to the 2016 MMFF.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Untitled Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz movie</h1><p>Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz will soon reunite for a new movie. This was announced by ABS-CBN’s Roxy Liquigan during the network’s corporate Christmas party last December ahead of Geronimo’s performance that night. The two last worked together in the 2013 box office movie “It Takes a Man and a Woman.” More details about the project have yet to be revealed.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Untitled Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion movie</h1><p>It&#x27;s finally happening. The much-anticipated reunion movie of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion will hit theaters this 2017, Star Cinema announced in December. The last time the two topbilled a film was back in 1992 for &quot;Tayong Dalawa.&quot;</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Untitled Ai Ai delas Alas movie</h1><p>It was announced in December that comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas will be reuniting with Star Cinema for an upcoming movie. It will be her first collaboration with the ABS-CBN production outfit since she left the Kapamilya network. Prior to her departure, delas Alas and Star Cinema made several box-office hits together, including 2003&#x27;s &quot;Ang Tanging Ina&quot; and 2012&#x27;s &quot;Sisterakas.&quot;</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">James Reid</h1><p>James Reid has been working on his newest album for quite a while. In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Reid said four out of the 12 tracks in the CD are dedicated to his girlfriend, Nadine Lustre. The definite date of its release has yet to be announced.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Sharon Cuneta</h1><p>Sharon Cuneta has started recording songs for her comeback album. On Monday, Star Music released the official lyric video of &quot;Hanggang Dulo,&quot; the first single from Cuneta&#x27;s CD. In an earlier interview, Cuneta said she is excited to work on this album because it has been a while since she released one.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><h1 class="heading">Jona</h1><p>Jona, who joined ABS-CBN in February 2016, is working on her album with Star Music. In a previous interview, Jona said she did not expect to have an album this soon since she is only new in the network.</p></div></div>
