SB19 releases music video for ‘Alab’

<figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-tWuVqZnoL4?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>Filipino pop group SB19 released Thursday the music video for its latest single, “Alab.”</p><p>The video comes more than 2 weeks since the band released the dance-pop banger, their first under Sony Music Philippines after signing with the record company, on various music platforms.</p><p>Tinged with melodious beats and sleek synths, “Alab” talks about the confession of one’s romantic attraction, which is likened to the feeling of being on fire.</p><p>With the release, the hashtag #SB19ALABMV topped the Philippine trends list on social networking platform Twitter.</p><p>The quintet debuted in 2018 with “Tilaluha” and achieved greater popularity with their second single, “Go Up.”</p><p>SB19 has entered 2 charts of music publication Billboard; namely the Next Big Sound chart, which tracks artists with fast-rising popularity, and the Social 50 chart, which ranks the most popular artists across social media platforms.</p><p>The pop group is set to <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/01/08/20/sb19-headline-up-fair-lineup-with-udd-ebe-dancel-unique">headline </a>the annual UP (University of the Philippines) Fair concert, joining the likes of singer Ebe Dancel and band Up Dharma Down.</p>
