Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the flick follows the story of two teenagers as they struggle to find the answer to the question, &quot;Why do you still love someone who has hurt you?&quot; And while the premise sounds a tad bit dramatic, the trailer is not. It shows a half-naked Gil and a sheepish Soberano pretending to make out, making awkward sounds and all, after being trapped in a closet by their friends. &quot;My Ex and Whys&quot; is Gil and Soberano&#x27;s third movie as a love team. Their previous movies — &quot;Everyday, I Love You&quot; and &quot;Just the Way You Are&quot; — are considered box-office hits after grossing more than P100 million nationwide.
