‘Make It With You’ pilot makes it as No. 1 show in time slot

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2020/life/01/14/20200114-lizquen.jpg"/><figcaption>Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano lead the cast of ‘Make It With You.’ <em>ABS-CBN</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA — “Make It With You” made it as the No. 1 TV program in its time slot as it debuted Monday, drawing nearly double the viewership of its rival show, according to Kantar Media.</p><p>The pilot of the ABS-CBN series registered a national TV rating of 27.4%, while its competing program, GMA-7’s “The Gift,” drew a distant 14.8% on January 13.</p><p>The debut ratings of “Make It With You” made it the overall second-ranked TV program for the day, just behind perennial No. 1 “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” with 29.9%.</p><p>“Make It With You” sees the primetime comeback of real-life couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.</p><p>Set in Croatia, its maiden telecast introduced lead characters Billy (Soberano) and Gabo (Gil), Filipinos whose lives intersect in the European country.</p><p>The mysterious Gabo, an illegal immigrant in Croatia, is forced to live in the streets of Dubrovnik and make ends meet, after his caravan gets intercepted by authorities.</p><p>Billy, meanwhile, appears to have a more established life there, as she is shown juggling dates professionally.
