'Fifty Shades Darker' to hit PH cinemas without cuts

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/entertainment/02/01/fiftyshades-020117.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">&#x27;Fifty Shades Darker&#x27; received a R-18 rating from the MTRCB.</div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA -- &quot;Fifty Shades Darker,&quot; the sequel to the racy bondage flick &quot;Fifty Shades of Grey,&quot; will be released in cinemas nationwide uncensored, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) announced Wednesday. </p><p>According to the regulatory body, the original version will be screened locally &quot;without cuts, blurs and blacked-out parts.&quot; </p><p>The MTRCB, however, slapped the movie with a R-18 rating, meaning that minors will not be allowed to see it. </p><p>In its announcement, the MTRCB warned moviegoers that &quot;Fifty Shades Darker&quot; contains &quot;prolonged and realistic depiction of sexual activity and aberrational sexual behavior, scenes involving bondage and dominance, sadism and masochism, nudity (breast, butt and public hair exposures) and, strong and/or sexual language.&quot; </p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="350" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/n6BVyk7hty8" width="600"></iframe></figure><p>Based on the novels by author E.L. James, &quot;Fifty Shades Darker&quot; continues the erotic tale between billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and college student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) that began with 2015&#x27;s &quot;Fifty Shades of Grey,&quot; which earned more than $560 million globally during its theatrical run. </p><p>Also part of the cast are Marcia Gay Harden, Jennifer Ehle, Luke Grimes, Rita Ora, Victor Rasuk, Eloise Mumford, Max Martini, Kim Basinger, Hugh Dancy, Bella Heathcote and Eric Johnson.</p><p>&quot;Fifty Shades Darker&quot; is directed by James Foley (&quot;Fear,&quot; &quot;House of Cards&quot;). It will be released in local cinemas on February 8. </p>
