In an interview with radio dzMM on Tuesday, Nina said she decided to keep her pregnancy from the public to protect the privacy of their family.

"Private lang naman talaga ako sa private life ko. As much as possible gusto ko siyang maging pribado para hindi masyadong mapagusapan," she said.

Nina also revealed that she was afraid that her pregnancy might affect her voice.

"Iyon ang fear ko, pero fortunately parang hindi naman naapektuhan. So, thankful ako doon kay God. Iyon din talaga 'yong kinakatakot ko kasi lagi kong naririnig 'yan na mababago, parang bababa 'yong boses mo at magiiba 'yong texture," she added.
