Regine Velasquez records theme song of 'Love Thy Woman'

<p>MANILA – Regine Velasquez made a cover of the OPM hit “Mahal Ko O Mahal Ako,” which will be the theme song of the upcoming series “Love Thy Woman.”</p><p>Its official music video was released via YouTube on Tuesday, or six days before the ABS-CBN drama hits television.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Y2VAFlb3Ej8?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>Directed by Jeffrey Jeturian, Jerry Lopez Sineneng, and Andoy Ranay, “Love Thy Woman” will join ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold lineup starting Monday, February 10.</p><p>It boasts of a star-studded cast including Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Yam Concepcion, Christopher de Leon, Sunshine Cruz, Eula Valdez, Zsa Zsa Padilla and Ruffa Gutierrez, among others.</p><p>This is the second time Velasquez sang the theme song of an ABS-CBN series. The first one was for “The General’s Daughter” starring Angel Locsin.</p>
