Cassie likewise reconciled with Daniela who, for the first time, acknowledged the younger Mondragon as her half-sister with an embrace.</p><p>The tug-of-war within the Mondragon family has been the central story of “Kadenang Ginto” since its October 2018 premiere. Its title stems from Romina’s relationship with Robert (Albert Martinez), the late Mondragon patriarch, who was belatedly revealed as her unknown assailant in series’ opening week.</p><p>For most of its run, “Kadenang Ginto” was the No. 1 program in its time slot, with memorable scenes and dramatic twists spawning online memes, and more recently, an Indonesian TV remake.</p>
