Here's how late Francis M. 'guided' daughter Maxene's relationship with Rob

Actress Maxene Magalona believes her late father, OPM icon Francis Magalona, guided her relationship with her husband, Rob Mananquil.

Magalona, who admitted to having a crush on Mananquil even before they personally met, said she believes her father shows his approval or disapproval through lights.

"Like minsan, pumuputok 'yung ilaw 'pag may hindi siya gusto. And then minsan, nagfi-flicker kapag masaya siya," she told "Rated K."

This also inspired Mananquil in planning his proposal, which happened in a colorfully lit spot in Japan last year.

Magalona and Mananquil got married last month.
