<p>MANILA -- Following the announcement of Christopher de Leon on Tuesday that he tested positive for COVID-19, the ABS-CBN management has urged those who might have interacted with the actor at work in the last two weeks to go on self-quarantine.</p><p>The broadcast network released its statement on Wednesday while also assuring its employees of its utmost support.</p><p>“While we have stopped the tapings of all our teleseryes, we will continue to monitor their situation and provide the necessary assistance and support to those who are affected. due to COVID-19.</p><p>De Leon is the second Filipino personality to announce he has tested positive for the disease, following Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri.</p><p>As of Tuesday afternoon, the Philippines has recorded 187 cases of COVID-19, including 12 deaths. It&#x27;s unclear whether that latest tally from the Department of Health included Zubiri and de Leon.</p>
