MANILA -- For the first time in the history of "Pilipinas Got Talent," the judges decided to hold a second set of auditions to help them decide on the 36 acts who will compete in the live semifinals.

On Sunday, judges Freddie Garcia, Robin Padilla, Angel Locsin and Vice Ganda had a tension-filled discussion as they trimmed down the 132 acts to only 36.

Despite this, the judges were able to agree on 31 acts to move on to the semifinals, including contemporary dancers Power Duo, bartending couple Liquid Concepts, dance group Power Impact Dancers, and "bonebreaker" Mark Dune Basmayor, who all earned the coveted Golden Buzzers.

However, they also decided to ask some acts to perform again to help them decide on who will get the last five slots.
