MANILA – Ferdie Marquez, an original member of the band True Faith, has passed away.Band member Medwin Marfil confirmed the sad news through a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/truefaithfan/photos/a.10151685197671012/10155796094566012/?type=3&amp;theater">Facebook post</a> on Sunday.“It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of (Truefaith original member) Ferdie Marquez’s passing,” he said.While describing the late band member as “very talented, gifted musician and a caring friend,” Marfil revealed that Marquez is one of the founding members of True Faith back in 1992.“Our most sincerest condolences to Tita Connie and family. RIP Ferdz. Thank you for sharing your great talent and music with everyone,” he added.As of writing, there are no details as to what caused Marquez’s death.“True Faith” is known for its hits “Huwag Na Lang Kaya,” and “Alaala” among others.
