Mariah Carey is coming back to Manila

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2018/tvpatrol/04/04/mariah.jpg"/><figcaption>Mariah Carey is coming back to the Philippines for a tour that will feature her chart-topping hits. <em>Mariah Carey&#x27;s Instagram page</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>US pop singer Mariah Carey will return to Manila for a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this October 26, her first in the country since 2014, she announced on Friday. </p><p>It is part of her &quot;The #1&#x27;s&quot; tour, where she is expected to perform all of her chart-toppers, and is only one of the two legs in Southeast Asia so far, according to her website. </p><p>The tour will begin in Australia on October 7 and will also hold stops in Japan and Indonesia. </p><p>Carey&#x27;s music career began 28 years ago, when she burst into the scene with her self-titled debut album. She went on to become one of the most successful female artists of the decade, thanks to hits like &quot;Emotions,&quot; &quot;Without You,&quot; and &quot;One Sweet Day.&quot; </p><p>She has a total of 18 US Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers -- the last one being &quot;Touch My Body&quot; in 2008 -- good for a record second place behind only The Beatles, which has 20 in the chart&#x27;s near 60-year history. </p><p>Tickets for Carey&#x27;s Manila concert will go on sale on April 20, with prices expected to be announced at an earlier date. </p><div><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script></div><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/wilbroslive/photos/a.313238442020960.83645.227943530550452/1929330227078432/?type=3&amp;theater" data-width="auto"> </div>
