WATCH: First trailer for 'Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon' promises more heartbreak

<figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9sGA_OTREzw?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>The first trailer for the sequel to the 2015 indie favorite, &quot;Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa,&quot; has been released this Monday. </p><p>The new movie, titled &quot;Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon,&quot; picks up five years after the original and continues the story of ex-lovers, Sam (Nicco Manalo) and Isa (Emmanuelle Vera). </p><p>As seen in the clip, it does not seem there is a happy ending for the two by the end of this one as well, even if they do reconnect. </p><p>The synopsis reads: &quot;Five years after their break-up, ex-lovers turned friends Sam and Isa attempt to find their own selves in the realm of their respective romantic relationships.&quot;</p><p>&quot;What they discover instead is pain and uncertainty as they come to terms with their feelings for each other and everyone around them.&quot; </p><p>Nestor Abrogena is back on board for &quot;Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon,&quot; which also features December Avenue&#x27;s &quot;Huling Sandali&quot; as its official soundtrack. It is due to open in cinemas on May 8. </p>
