MANILA — The comedic duo of Michael V and Ogie Alcasid reunited on Monday through the latter's Facebook stream, treating their fans to a night of trivia and laughter.

Michael V was Alcasid's guest in the May 5 episode of "Mondays with Ogie," the singer-songwriter's newly launched online program amid the lockdown caused by the coronavirus disease pandemic.

The two played their version of "Never Have I Ever," tweaking it to become a trivia game about each other.

The segment unfolded as laughter-filled reminiscing, as they recalled shared moments dating back to the 1990s.

Alcasid revealed that he was one of the judges in a televised rap contest that Michael V joined at the time, saying the low score he gave was the reason his would-be collaborator lost that day.

Other trivia included Alcasid stepping on a nail during a "Bubble Gang" shoot, and Michael V becoming an "acrobat" as he fell on the floor, instead of the mosh pit audience, during a show.

Michael V and Alcasid's virtual reunion was a welcome surprise to their long-time fans. The two had been long-time comedy collaborators on GMA-7 's "Bubble Gang" prior to Alcasid's 2016 transfer to ABS-CBN.
