Gary Estrada headed for defeat in Cainta vice mayoralty race

<p>MANILA – Vice-mayoral candidate Gary Estrada is headed for a heartbreaking loss on Tuesday.</p><p>With 90.14 percent of election returns (partial and unofficial) from Cainta already tallied as of 8:42 a.m., Estrada was more than 40,000 votes behind NPC&#x27;s Ace Servillon.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/entertainment/05/14/gary-estrada.jpg"/></figure></div><p>Estrada is the running mate of mayoralty candidate Pia Velasco, who was also behind frontrunner Kit Nieto by at least 90,000 votes based on the same data.</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/entertainment/05/14/garyestradalost.jpg"/></figure></div><p>Before seeking the town&#x27;s vice mayoral post, Estrada served as a board member of the second district of Quezon province from June 2010 to June 2016.</p><p>In a report published by entertainment website PEP, Estrada said he and his wife, Bernadette Allyson, bought a house in Cainta in 2007.</p><p>He registered as a voter of Cainta in 2016.</p><p>Click <a href="https://halalanresults.abs-cbn.com">here</a> for ABS-CBN&#x27;s election results:</p>
