was among the celebrities who lost their respective bids in the midterm election. </p><p>Yap (PDP-Laban) was running against reelectionist Raul del Mar (LP), who was seeking a third and final term as representative of the 1st district of Cebu City. </p><p>Based on the unofficial, partial results as of 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, Yap landed in second in the 4-way race with 81,167 votes, behind Del Mar, who was the overwhelming victor with 134,816 votes. </p><p>The numbers were from the 748 of 759 clustered precincts (98.55 percent total) tallied. </p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure end here.
