Enrique, Liza crowned Box Office King and Queen

<p>MANILA -- Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano were named this year’s Box Office King and Queen at the 49th Box-Office Entertainment Awards given by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation. </p><p>In a heartfelt Instagram post, Soberano gave credit to all those who made this feat possible for her and Gil, citing Star Cinema’s Malou Santos, Carmi Raymundo, Mico del Rosario and director Cathy Garcia Molina.</p><p>Soberano also extended her gratitude to the ABS-CBN management “for believing in me and the LizQuen tandem and for giving us the opportunity to inspire thousands of Filipinos all over the world.” </p><p>She also thanked their fans who unceasingly support all her projects with Gil.</p><p>“To our loving fans who spent sleepless nights tweeting, instagramming and putting together block screenings all for us THANK YOU. With or without this recognition we still feel like winners because of the unconditional love you show us,” Soberano wrote.</p><p>Her post also made mention how Gil always brings out the best in her.</p><p>“To my amazing partner Enrique who is always by my side, you bring out the best in me in ways nobody else can.
