Pero we’re still friends,” she told <a href="https://www.pep.ph/news/143588/kelly-day-breakup-tommy-esguerra-a745-20190530">PEP</a>.When asked if their decision to part ways was mutual, Day said: “Kind of. Parang mas ako. Pero nung in-explain ko sa kanya kung bakit, parang naintindihan niya na we just have to focus on ourselves.”Right now, Day said Esguerra has been spending time with his family in the United States.Does she regret breaking up with Esguerra since they were together for two years?“Well, sa akin, hindi sayang kasi I learned a lot from him. And I think him also. We grew a lot together and, I mean, even after nag-break kami, nag-hang out pa kami together, we went out to dinner,” he said.As to the possibility of a second chance, Day said she doesn’t see it within the horizon.“Sa ngayon siguro, hindi, kasi after &#x27;yung breakup, I was really able to focus on myself. So, I feel good, especially we have this show and I just really want to focus on that,” she said.Prior to Day, Esguerra was in a relationship with his fellow “PBB” housemate Miho Nishida.
