'Born For You' premiere sets Twitter on fire

<p>MANILA -- After the long wait, ABS-CBN&#x27;s newest primetime drama series &quot;Born For You&quot; finally premiered on Monday night.</p><p>Starring Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona, the story revolves around the lives of two people -- Sam and Kevin -- who are destined for each other.</p><p>Sam (Salvador), the only daughter of a band vocalist and a composer, lives a simple life that made special by her parents&#x27; love for each other. Despite financial problems, their family remains as solid as their passion for music.</p><p>Kevin, on the other hand, is the eldest child of a frustrated composer and a has-been singer. His father, however, will be back on limelight with the help of a song that his mother stole from Sam&#x27;s father.</p><p>&quot;Born For You&quot; also features Vina Morales, Ariel Rivera, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Gina Pareño, and Freddie Webb.</p><p>Its official premiere hashtag #BFYTheRedString trended on Twitter, even topping the Philippine trends.
