followers questioning her post in support of the queer community, in light of her being a Christian.</p><p>Locsin was among the high-profile celebrities who expressed their allyship with the LGBTQ+ community, in celebration of Pride Month.</p><p>On Instagram, Locsin shared an image with the text, &quot;Proud Ally.&quot; In its caption, she wrote: &quot;In a world with so much hatred, everyone should be allowed to feel safe and loved.&quot;</p><p>She also used the hashtag #FreePride20, a call to release arrested participants in a Pride rally in Manila last week.</p><p>Comments on Locsin&#x27;s post included those similarly supporting LGBTQ+ rights and celebrating Pride, but there was a number questioning the actress&#x27; being a Christian, in connection with her being an being in same-sex relationships — a comment which Locsin didn&#x27;t let pass with a response.</p><p>Locsin answered: &quot;As for my knowledge as a Christian, ang paulit-ulit na binabanggit sa Bible is, &#x27;Love one another&#x27; or, &#x27;Love your neighbor.&#x27; &#x27;Yan ang tungkulin natin sa Diyos at kapwa na dapat nating sundin at Diyos lang ang makakahusga.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m all for equal rights. Why deny them that, dahil tingin mong tama ka?&quot; she replied to another who called homosexuality a sin.</p><p>A third comment, meanwhile, agreed with Locsin about loving one&#x27;s neighbor — &quot;as long as it&#x27;s in the right, in the eyes of God.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Sorry po pero you are judging them,&quot; Locsin replied. &quot;That&#x27;s not your job. Your job in this world is to love your neighbor. Kaya marami ang nati-turn off magbalik sa simbahan sa mga LGBTQ+ dahil sa mga ganito.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Si Lord po ang judge at hindi tayo.&quot;</p>
