Melai vows to stick it out with husband Jason

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/news-special1/nation/07/12/071216_melai.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco.</div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA – Comedienne Melai Cativeros is willing to do everything to save her marriage to husband Jason Francisco despite some problems in their relationships.</p><p>In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other reporters on Monday, Cativeros emphasized that it is just normal for couples to have arguments.</p><p>“Wala namang perfect na relasyon. Pagdadaanan niyo talaga ;yung mga ganyang bagay. Mangingibabaw pa rin ang pagmamahalan niyo. Imposible kasi sa isang relasyon na walang away. Kapag naging okay kayo, doon niyo mate-test na talagang mahal na mahal niyo ang isa’t isa kasi despite sa mga nangyari,” she said.</p><p>Saying their relationship is stronger than ever, Cantiveros said their recent marital woes taught her to balance her time wisely.</p><p>“Natutunan ko na kailangan mo talagang i-balance &#x27;yung time mo para mabigyan mo ng time &#x27;yung family mo at work mo. Kung ano &#x27;yung priority mo, kailangan mo talagang isipin. Kailangan piliin mo din &#x27;yung mga tatanggapin mo para maka-serve ka pa sa family mo. Thank you Lord at na-balance ko,” she said.</p><p>With her family as her topmost priority, Cantiveros said she will not let anything happen that will lead to her separation with Francisco.</p><p>“Kung aabot sa ganun, hindi puwede kasi asawa ko siya. No way. Talagang isi-stick ko ang sarili ko no matter what happens kasi nga sumumpa ako sa Panginoon at mahal na mahal ko naman ang pamilya ko. Walang makakatibag sa amin,” she said with confidence.</p><p>Cantiveros and Francisco tied the knot in 2013. The two met inside the &quot;Pinoy Big Brother&quot; house during the 2009 season of the hit reality television show.</p><p>Asked if they plan to have another baby, Cantiveros said: “Hopefully, pero ang plano namin talaga in the next two years pa para kapag four years old na si Mela, may baby na bago. Work work work muna ngayon. Kapag dumating naman anytime soon, it’s welcome.”</p>
