What is Bea Alonzo doing in ‘Kadenang Ginto?’ Fans ask after surprise cameo

She ended up in the unlikeliest of places, thanks to memes.

And on Thursday's episode of "Kadenang Ginto," Daniela (Dimples Romana) bumped into the unlikeliest of people this time, much to the surprise (and speculation) of the show's viewers.

Right before confronting Romina (Beauty Gonzalez) in a food expo for some good old squabbling, she was inadvertently stopped on her tracks by a woman, played by Bea Alonzo.

"I'm sorry," said Alonzo's character quickly, before trading stares (icy ones, mind you) and walking away.

This immediately led to Alonzo's name becoming one of the most-talked about topics on Twitter locally, with many of the show's fans wondering if she was set to join the cast of the drama.

Though a tweet from Romana herself could suggest that this was only a one-time thing, and only came to be when Alonzo visited their set when they were shooting the scene.
