MANILA -- People pitting Julia Barretto and Bea Alonzo against each other? Kris Aquino is not having any of that.

The ever-outspoken Aquino refused to be baited into taking a side in the supposed feud between the two actresses, and instead argued that all the brouhaha should be about the disrespectful way Gerald Anderson broke up with Alonzo.

She was replying to a fan of hers on Instagram who told her that she should ask Erich Gonzales about her opinion on the "Julia-Bea feud." Gonzales is known to be good friends with Barretto.

"Puwedeng 'wag nega? And ang hindi natin buhay 'wag na natin guluhin especially Erich na hindi directly involved?" Aquino said.

"Obviously alam natin mahal ko si Bea but hindi ba unfair to judge Julia because why do we always blame the girl?"

"I can already feel the Gerald fans will blast me for this, but I have always told Bimb, 'Hindi mahirap maki[pag]-break. Respect someone you cared about enough to give them closure. Then move on.' Ganun lang ka-simple 'yun," she added.

She also said: "Masakit ang goodbye pero mas masakit ang hindi worth a goodbye. So please respect women? And don't pit them against each other. Even those with no issues."

It was just last week when Alonzo revealed that Anderson broke up with her by ignoring her and her messages. People referred to it as "ghosting," a dating lingo which is basically when one half of a couple disappears in a relationship without explanation. Prior to this, Alonzo had been hinting about infidelity.

Many are speculating that Anderson cheated on Alonzo with Barretto, the actor's co-star in "Between Maybes."

Alonzo and Anderson had been together for three years.
