There&#x27;s always that hope that the song will embed itself in popular culture, like <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxVcSvA_Ksg">those of the past</a>. </p><p>This time, for their highly anticipated romance drama, &quot;The Hows of Us,&quot; starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, Star Cinema has tapped Moira dela Torre to cover &quot;Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko.&quot; </p><p>It&#x27;s fitting, not only because Dela Torre is one of those local artists who are in a creative streak, moving fans to tears with her music videos, but also because of the movie&#x27;s plot. </p><p>The <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/07/28/18/watch-kathniel-plans-family-future-in-new-the-hows-of-us-teaser">first teaser</a> shows fans Bernardo and Padilla&#x27;s characters planning their future together, in line with the song&#x27;s theme about commitment. But of course, being a drama, it&#x27;s not going to go according to what they want, as we see them fight and in tears. </p><p>The music video for Dela Torre&#x27;s version of the Rey Valera classic complements this feel, juxtaposing scenes of Jo (Bernardo) and Primo (Padilla) talking freely about going to Amsterdam and gazing upon tulips with scenes of them apart and sulking. </p><p>The movie is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and is scheduled for a nationwide release on August 29. </p>
