saying he has always been open about his gender identity.</p><p>The topic came up Tuesday on the sidelines of a press conference for his upcoming film “The Panti Sisters,” one of the entries in this year’s Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino.</p><p>“Kung ano ‘yung nakikita mo, ganun ‘yung pananaw ko sa sarili ko. Ganito rin naman ako kahit dati pa,” he added.</p><p>Aside from his popular makeup transformations inspired by female celebrities, Ballesteros is known for his LTBQ+ portrayals on the big screen.</p><p>Prior to “The Panti Sisters,” where he plays one of three brothers who all happen to be gay, Ballesteros was a gay man in “Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend?” and a transgender woman in Alam ko, alam nila who I am,” he said.</p><p>In January, Ballesteros candidly revealed being in a gay relationship, a month after he first posted on Instagram a photo showing him holding hands with a man.</p><p>When asked whether he is “confirmed” to be gay, Ballesteros answered, “Ay, hindi pa ba?”</p>
