MANILA - "You're the reason I'm here," a flustered Edward Barber told actress Liza Soberano in an episode of "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7" (PBB) aired Tuesday.

Barber, a teen housemate from Germany, shared to the "Dolce Amore" star the story on how seeing a performance of her with his family played a huge part in his decision to audition for the reality show.

"I went with my sister and my mom to see you and Enrique [Gil] [when you went to Düsseldorf] and that's where someone said, 'Hey, you should think about joining. And then I auditioned and I got in. So technically, you're the reason I'm here," explained Barber.

Soberano is the current celebrity guest inside the "PBB" house. In Tuesday's episode, the actress had to go on a series of dates with each of the male housemates, Barber included. Soberano's onscreen partner Gil is expected to join her soon.
