Atong Ang 'clarifies' association with Nicole, Gretchen and Claudine Barretto

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/tvpatrol/10/08/20191020-atong.jpg"/><figcaption>Atong Ang (middle) has clarified his relationships with both Gretchen and Nicole Barretto. <em>Instagram</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>Businessman Atong Ang finally broke his silence on the controversy surrounding him and some of the female members of the showbiz Barretto family.</p><p>Nicole Barretto, niece of Gretchen Barretto, earlier accused her aunt of &quot;stealing&quot; Ang from her.</p><p>Gretchen denied this by saying that it was Nicole who first &quot;stole&quot; Ang from Claudine.</p><p>In a statement sent to ABS-CBN News&#x27; Henry Omaga-Diaz, Ang clarified how he is associated with each of the Barretto women.</p><p>The businessman said Nicole and her mother used to work for him; Gretchen was a business partner; and he once helped Claudine with her personal issues.</p><p>The full text of his statement can be read below:</p><p>&quot;Tungkol kay Nicole, mga four to 11 years ago ay nagkakasama kami nang mommy niya. Kung ano man ang relationship namin, walang kinalaman si Gretchen.</p><p>&quot;Si Gretchen kasosyo ko sa casino at saka sabong. Si Tonyboy Cojuangco, kasama ko rin sa casino. May junket ako sa mga casino, si Tony kasosyo ko sa Okada.</p><p>&quot;Kung nagkahiwalay kami nila Nicole walang kinalaman si Gretchen. Ang relasyon namin ni Nicole, parang taga asikaso ng mga flights ko and schedule ko noon.</p><p>&quot;Iyong relasyon kay Claudine, ako ang nag-ayos nang nagkaproblema sila ng anak ni Mayor Martin Castro --&#x27;yun lang ang naging relasyon namin.</p><p>&quot;Si Nicole, pinagaral ko &#x27;yan, ang nagtrabaho sa akin &#x27;yung nanay niya. Si Gretchen malapit siya sa asawa ko.&quot;</p><p>Ang&#x27;s history with the Barrettos was put on the limelight after Nicole&#x27;s statement about her going to the US to &quot;move on&quot; from what happened between her and Ang.</p><p>This was allegedly the triggering factor that led to the physical confrontation between Gretchen and Nicole during the wake of their patriarch Miguel last
