Jovit Baldivino finally laid to rest

<p><strong>(UPDATED)</strong> Singer Jovit Baldivino, who passed away last December 9 due to stroke complications, was finally laid to rest on Wednesday.</p><p>A Mass was held for the late singer at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Rosario, Batangas around noon before the funeral convoy left for the cemetery.</p><p>After the service, Baldivino&#x27;s sister Jasmine thanked supporters and their kababayans for showing their love and appreciation for her late brother. </p><p>&quot;Hindi ko po alam kung ano ang sasabihin ko ngayon. Hindi po ako makapaniwala na nandiyan na ang kuya ko. Una, gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa kuya. Kuya Bundoy, salamat sa lahat lahat nang naitulong mo sa amin, sa ating pamilya. Maraming nagmamahal sa &#x27;yo, maraming nagsusuporta sa &#x27;yo. Yung iba nanggaling pa sa malayong lugar,&quot; she said.</p><p>&quot;Sa lahat nang nakiramay, alam ko pong hindi sapat ang salitang salamat. Even then he was already a YouTube hit with his rendition of The Journey’s “Faithfully”.</p><p>He won P2 million after topping text and online votes with 48.81 percent.
