MANILA  -- Film production company MQuest Ventures has released some of the first-look stills from Piolo Pascual and Vic Sotto's 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "The Kingdom."

On Thursday, the production company dropped stills on their social media showing Pascual and Sotto in character.

In a recent interview with Pascual, the actor confessed that he feels intimidated working with the comedy icon.

"Lumaki akong Vic Sotto fan. Lahat ng pelikula niya sa film fest ay pinapanood ko. Nanginginig at nauutal ako nung una pero kailangan mong panindigan. Nakakatuwa. I was telling my mom, sabi ko, ‘Mommy, grabe ka-eksena ko si Boss Vic.’ Nakakataba ng puso. Umabot ka sa punto na you get to act alongside with an icon. Marami akong natutunan. Pangarap talaga siya sa akin," Pascual said.

According to the Kapamilya actor, his team-up with Sotto is a "treat" for their fans and families spending their Christmas in the movie houses.

"It’s gonna be a visual treat para sa mga manonood kasi talagang first time mag-drama ni Bossing Vic. Maganda ‘yung production value. I’m really, really excited for December 25. We’re also celebrating the 50 years of MMFF. We’re all excited," Pascual said.

"The Kingdom" is among the entries in the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival along with "Green Bones," "Strange Frequencies: Haunted Hospital" and Vice Ganda's "And The Breadwinner Is."
