MANILA — Actor Sam Milby has renewed his contract with ABS-CBN on Wednesday.

Milby was among the six artists to renew their contracts with the company.

During the ceremony, the actor got messages his sister Ada Milby, Cathy Garcia Sampana, Julia Montes, John Prats, Enchong Dee, Sancho delas Alas, and KZ Tandingan, among others.

"Congratulations, Sam. Another milestone sa iyong career, signing with our Kapamilya. Siguro looking forward kami sa mga ibabahagi mo pa sa ating mga Kapamilya," Montes said.

Milby credited all the people behind the scenes whom he had worked with for their support.

"I wouldn't be where I am kung 'di dahil sa guidance ng mga managements ko and I wanna give a big thank you 'coz I think these people don't get enough credit, 'yung mga tao na bumubuo sa mga projects, the production," the actor said.

"They are working so hard, they are the first to get there, the last to leave, they need more credit and I just want to thank you guys for working so hard 'coz I've made so many TV shows and movies kahit sa music, and I'm just so thankful for all the hard work na ginagawa ng lahat ng tao," he added.

"To my directors, of course, and my co-actors, maraming-maraming salamat, I'm so excited to still be here, a forever Kapamilya."

Milby rose to fame as a housemate of “Pinoy Big Brother” and went on to create music soon after. He eventually ventured in acting and was last seen in the series “A Family Affair” in 2022.

Milby is set to star in the Philippine adaptation of “Saving Grace” with Julia Montes and Sharon Cuneta.
